You can jog around the block or you can run a marathon. Running benefits to your body in so many ways. It helps you build strong muscles and bones to keep your body going for years to come. Runners are the most fit people no matter what the age. Running isn't only a workout, its a sport. People compete with running all the time, for example the olympics. There are runners all around the world who go to local races, the most popular race is a 5K (5 Kilometer), which is a little over 3 miles. Many people also take on the challenge of completing a marathon. A marathon is a little over 26 miles. Im not sure of anyone in history who has ran a marathon non-stop without walking every once in a while. But running, it's something that you would benefit from for life. Starting out small or starting with a marathon, running something to cherish.
